Dawn of Chu
12/31/01
Creation myth of the Chu people. The Dawn of Chu was a performance based upon the cosmogony of the Chu Silk manuscript, a pre-confucian creation story. Rather than a autocosmogony as is the case with many ancient chinese creations, the Chu Silk manuscript contained a creation of the world through the actions of individualized dieties.
