Aerial Arts Workshops

Curious about aerial arts? Ever dreamed of climbing an aerial silk high into the sky? Want to try swinging on a trapeze? Ready to shake up your workout? Want to run away with the circus?

Come give aerial arts a try in this special 3-hour workshop! We'll climb the silks, swing on trapeze and spin on hoops. You'll also get to learn the warm up, strength building and cool down exercises our professional Cabiri performers use. And you'll have fun doing it!

All workshops will be held in the Movement Studio at Youngstown Cultural Arts Center, 4408 Delridge Way SW, Seattle, 98106.

This class is suitable for fit, active beginners age 13 and up, and/or those with some aerial arts experience. Students should wear fitted clothing that covers the back of the knees, waist and upper arms and with no zippers, buttons or other metal. No hand or wrist jewelry or large earrings or necklaces may be worn during class. All participants must sign a liability waiver. Bring water and a light snack with you.
